Made to Measure
Personal pattern
Our made-to-measure service begins with a private consultation and a series of precise measurements. A personal pattern is drafted and stored for future orders, so every subsequent garment is cut to your exact proportions.
Fabric & detail selection
Choose from European wool, silk and cashmere cloths, then select lapel width, button stance, lining, trouser break and monogramming. Each decision is recorded and reviewed before cutting begins.
Fittings & delivery
A baste fitting allows us to refine the silhouette before final construction. Most made-to-measure orders are completed within 6–8 weeks, with progress updates from our atelier team.
Private Fitting
By appointment
Book a one-on-one appointment with a tailoring consultant in our Melbourne showroom. Private fittings are available for ready-to-wear, made-to-measure and bridal-party dressing.
Styling consultation
Your consultant will advise on fit, fabric, colour and the appropriate level of formality for the occasion. Appointments typically run 45–60 minutes and include refreshments.
Alterations
In-house tailoring
Our in-house tailor handles sleeve length, waist suppression, trouser hemming and minor adjustments. Most alterations are completed within 5–7 business days.
Complimentary adjustments
Ready-to-wear suits purchased from MATTEO ZANETTI include complimentary basic alterations within 30 days of purchase. Bespoke and made-to-measure garments are adjusted as part of the original service.
Care & Repair
Garment care
Natural fibres benefit from gentle handling. We recommend dry cleaning only when necessary, brushing wool garments after wear, and storing suits on shaped hangers with breathable covers.
Repairs
Our atelier can repair loose stitching, replace buttons, reinforce linings and restore pressed edges. For significant damage or vintage pieces, please contact client services for an assessment.
